TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SALES POLICY:
1. Orders are final and cannot be cancelled/changed/rejected. The client is responsible for choice of colors/wood finish/options.
2. Prices are final and not eligible for further negotiations.
3. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for orders.
4. Please allow 10-18 business weeks for delivery of custom orders.
5. Full payment is required prior to release of any merchandise. We accept credit card, certified checks and cash. Personal checks are acceptable but must be cleared first (takes 5-7 business days) before delivery/pick-up.
6. The customer is responsible to read and understand the warranty included and to follow instructions for the proper care and maintenance of the furniture. We are not liable for damages caused by negligence. Please contact us if you have any questions.
7. The warranty is extended only to the original buyer. We will require the original receipt to address all warranty issues.
8. All "FINAL SALE" items (e.g. floor models, clearance items, etc.) are sold “AS-IS”, no return/no exchange. In addition, the full warranty is not applicable to these items.
9. Warranty is not applicable to furniture used for business.
10. For authorized returns, a 20% re-stocking fee applies. The customer is also responsible for any related charges (such as delivery fees) for returning merchandise. Items should be in same condition as when delivered and are subject to inspection. Damaged products will not be accepted.
11. No refunds will be made on miscellaneous charges, such as delivery fees, set-up fees, etc.
SHIPPING POLICY:
1. Delivery will be made up to the interior space only and includes simple set-up of furniture.
2. Orders may also be picked up. Bogart will not be responsible for damages during shipping for items picked up.
3. We use reliable third-party shipping companies for out-of-province deliveries. Please call us for a quote.
4. Additional charges are as follows:
· For apartments or other locations requiring the use of elevators additional $20.00
· Moving of any old furniture (assessed on-site) minimum $40.00
· Assembly for more complicated furniture to be assessed
5. We can only guarantee the delivery day and not the exact delivery time.
6. We do not accept old furniture.
7. Please have a responsible adult at home to accept the delivery.
8. The customer is responsible to ensure that the receiving space as well as passageways (e.g. driveway, hallway, walkway) are clear and will accommodate the size of the furniture. Please provide a 10% allowance for the size of the furniture
9. In the event that the client cannot receive the furniture due to space or other issues, the client will be charged for the first and any succeeding delivery attempts.
10 Please ensure availability of elevators during the delivery day.
11. Should our delivery personnel find that the passageway is tight, they are given strict instructions not to move the furniture to avoid damage. We strongly advise against instructing our personnel to force furniture through tight spaces as we will not be liable for any damage as a result of such action.
12. Please inform us of any change in delivery time or address at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery.
STORAGE POLICY:
1. We may store your purchased items for a maximum of seven (7) days, after which storage fees will apply.
